Cost Structure
The final amount a visitor has to pay is made up of a number of costs, plus the card price. These costs are configured in the box office system, which is always leading. Extra costs will be communicated in the online order process in the total amount of the order, and as a separate amount, underneath the ticket costs.



Cost Explainer


All extra costs that are not included in the ticket price need to be communicated on the website. We created a general solution to show an extra "cost explainer" text next to the prices on the production page on the website. Just fill in the template text "FE3_serviceCostsEventPage"


To overrule this text for a specific production there is the option to use "Cost explainer" in the production Module. 

If you have an event without service costs make sure to mark the check box and leave the text field empty. The general template text about service costs will not appear in this particular production. 


Mark the checkbox and leave extra information. For example: "For this event only €1,- service costs will be added". Now your default text (for this event specifically) will be overwritten by this new text. Make sure to also change the amount of service costs in your Box Office.
