People Parts: using Cluster names as heading on website
The name of the Cluster is now displayed above the People Part on a Production or Story page.
When multiple people parts are used, they all can now have different headings, based on the Clusters that are used in the people part.
Cluster Names are now Multilingual!
Cluster Names are replacing the template text FE3_eventCredits_heading - this will still be used for Credits Part.
Example of two Clusters being used on Production Page to group People, each having a different variant layout.
Maker = no-image | Cast = (default) grid
Tool Tip: You can use the Parameter Cluster to filter People, add multiple People Parts to your Production detail setting in Routes & Parts to separate Cast and Creatives, and each can have their own Layout!
- Parameter Name: clusters
- Possible Values: [ID of Cluster]
Note: Only People in these Clusters will be displayed. All people will be displayed if the value is empty. Can add multiple IDs, comma-separated.
Privacy by design: Personal data no longer displayed on e-tickets
We have removed all personal information from regular e-tickets
- Secure E-tickets will still have some personal data for events where you want to sell securely by name. These tickets require login in your account, so personal data on those secure tickets is safely stored behind the login.
- We obscured part of the mobile phone number on the secure tickets in the “request access code via SMS” step.
- There is a setting to switch Personal Details on for all E-tickets in Control panel > E-tickets > Personal details
Example: Regular E-ticket with no personal information
Example: Secure E-ticket with Name/Customer No Only
Option to disable event date fold-out in What’s On pages to go straight to detail page
There is a new setting to disable the event fold-out on the What’s On/Agenda page for Productions.
When this option is active, it replaces the event dates fold-out button (“show dates”) with a link directly to the detailpage. This is especially convenient when Productions have a lot of Events, and you want to avoid long lists with dates in the What’s On page.
New Setting!
Control Panel > Events > Event Cards > Cards always link to detail
Hey Google, don't translate the language switch!
A small thing, but a great example of all the little details our development team comes across while working on the platform. Google translate in the web browser is a great helper, but sometimes it gets in the way, like in the case of a language switch. On a non-English website, the language switch to English usually is displayed as “EN”, which is already translated for English language users.
Well, if we were to leave it up to Google translate, the perfectly clear “EN” language switch text on Dutch websites would be translated to “AND” (EN is Dutch for AND).
So we basically needed to tell Google it’s ok to translate the entire website, but please do not translate the language switch, since we already did that ourselves. Tsss.
Other updates
- Fix: service menu on mobile navigation
- Suggestions: After manually selecting suggestions, the 'left over spots' were usually filled with other productions from the same genre. When there are not enough productions of the same genre, from now on the other spots are filled with random future productions.
- Stories: Option added to hide all Story Type tags on story cards in a specific story part on the website.
- New Parameter: hideStoryTypes = true. This replaces the option to hide a specific story type, which wasn’t working in a transparent way.
- Stories: Increased limit on story feed requests. We now allow fetching 1 story per second
- CMS: Display Hall in Cross Sells module
- Query Builder: Fixed an issue when using multiple “not in…” filters
- Tixly: Fixed an issue with the Tixly opt-in sync. Sync now works both ways.
- Filters: Fixed location filter not working in sidebar layout
- Banners: Allow flexgrid banners without links
- Mailings: Fixed non-clickable buttons in V4 Mailings in (off course) good old Outlook
- Fixed account pop-up in mobile menu
