Visitors will not always load their shopping cart full of tickets for events. They mainly do this for theatre shows or when a pre-sale starts. For movies or long-term expos, however, visitors often like to buy just one ticket at a time. Therefore, there is the "Skip cart" option. You will find this option in your dashboard via System > Control Panel > Ticketing, then look for "Skip cart".
Here you can add the production type(s) for which you would like to skip the cart.
Note: this can only be done per production type, not per production.
