With suggestions, visitors will get to see other, related shows on the detail page of a show.
It is possible to connect certain shows with each other on the production detail page.
This already goes automatically by suggesting other events within the same Genre.
For example: when a visitor is visiting the detail page of a 'cabaret' show, other events with the genre 'cabaret' will be shown under the detail page in the suggestions part (in the example below under "anderen bekeken ook"):
Choose Specific shows
Sometimes you might prefer to select shows that are not related to the genre category. This can give further inspiration to the visitor.
In each production (Productions module) you can add yourself 1 to 3 alternative productions that are shown as a suggestion on the production detail page.
After manually selecting suggestions, the 'left over spots' were usually filled with other productions from the same genre. When there are not enough productions of the same genre, from now on the other spots are filled with random future productions.
Want to focus on sales? Go for the option "show only bookable events"
You can choose to show all kind of events as a suggestion (even free events, or cancelled events), or only bookable events.
You can control this yourself by going to your Dashboard > System > Control Panel
Search for: "Suggestions"
Here you find the on/off button to display only bookable events as a suggestion.
