The corona proof seat selection is a special type of validation for the seatmap. Besides this manual, it is explained in chapter 9 in the video below.
The corona proof seat selection automatically blocks some available seats next to booked seats, to create the obligatory social distance between visitors. The blocked seats are shown as (usually red) crosses:
Visitors are then urged to book their seats directly next to the red crosses. In order to clarify this, a new pop-up in the seat selection application will show an explanation on how to book seats.
This smart pop-up automatically comes with some visual examples. These examples are adapted to the amount of blocked seats that are set up for the hall:
Pop-up for a hall with 2 blocked seats between people
Pop-up for a hall with 3 blocked seats between people
Setting up a hall
In order to activate the corona-proof seat selection, all you have to do is set the amount of blocked seats for each hall you want to use it for. You can do that in the hall module for each hall:
Template texts
After having done this, the pop-up will automatically be active. Of course all texts can be adjusted to your own needs (the visual aids will always be shown and are not changeable).
